What does SquadTrip do for retreat hosts?+

It gives your retreat one booking page where guests choose a room or package, pay a deposit, answer your registration questions and sign your waiver. The rest of the balance is charged automatically on the dates you set, reminders go out before each one, and you see every guest's balance on one dashboard.

How much does it cost to run a retreat on SquadTrip?+

The Starter plan is free. Guests pay a single 6% processing fee on top of your price, which includes Stripe's card fees, so you receive your full price: on a $2,000 retreat the guest pays $2,120 and you receive $2,000. The Launch plan is $29 a month. There is no commission on your bookings.

Can guests pay for a retreat in installments?+

Yes. You set the deposit and the installment dates once, and each guest's card is charged automatically on those dates. US guests can also choose Klarna, Afterpay or Affirm at checkout; a 4% convenience fee is added to their total and you are paid in full.

Is SquadTrip a retreat marketplace like BookRetreats or Retreat Guru?+

No. Marketplaces list your retreat to their audience and take a commission on each booking. SquadTrip is your own booking page and payment system: you bring the guests, keep your guest list and email them directly, and pay no commission. Some hosts use both.

Can I collect registration details and waivers at booking?+

Yes. Add your own registration questions, such as dietary needs, room-share preferences, emergency contacts and arrival times, and an e-signature waiver to checkout. Answers and signed documents are stored with each booking and can be exported for your venue.

Where does the money go?+

Straight to your own connected Stripe or Square account. SquadTrip does not hold your funds, so deposits are available for your venue deposit on your normal payout schedule.
