What organizers ask most when they first see SquadTrip.
How do your fees work?
SquadTrip is free to use. Travelers pay one 6% fee on top of your price, with Stripe's card fees included, so a $1,000 spot costs them $1,060 and you keep the full $1,000. If you'd rather cover it, build the fee into your price instead.
What's the difference between the free plan and Premium?
The free Starter plan has unlimited trips, booking pages, payment plans, Klarna, Afterpay and Affirm, promo codes, traveler referrals and the reporting dashboard. Premium is $29 a month and adds custom brand colors, scheduled emails, unlimited text messages, social links on trip pages, more team members and priority support.
How is SquadTrip different from TravelJoy?
TravelJoy is built around individual clients: client records, questionnaires, invoices and payments for one booking at a time. SquadTrip is built for group trips: one booking page for the whole trip, rooms travelers can share, a payment plan for each traveler and a group chat. Read the full comparison.
How do refunds work?
Issue a full or partial refund from the traveler's page in your dashboard. The traveler gets back what they paid, including the 6% fee, and a full refund also cancels the booking and stops future payments. Stripe keeps its own card fee, as it does on any refund. Refunds reach travelers within 10 business days.
Where does the money go?
Straight to your own Stripe account and on to your bank, with daily or weekly payouts. SquadTrip never holds your money. Stripe usually takes 7 to 14 days to release your first payout.
Can I try a booking before I share my trip?
Yes. On Preview and Publish, click Enable test mode and make a test booking yourself, so you see exactly what your travelers will.
