For pastors and church trip coordinators

Make the Holy Land trip a yes for the whole congregation.

A $4,000 trip becomes about $360 a month. Cards are charged on the date, receipts go out on their own, and the coordinator sees every traveler on one page instead of a clipboard.

Free to use. Travelers pay one 6% fee on top, so the church keeps the full price.

What this page is for

A pilgrimage is the most expensive trip most congregants will take, and many of them are older. They want to pay over time, from a card they already have, without learning an app. The coordinator wants to stop being the church's billing department. SquadTrip gives each traveler an automatic monthly plan, sends the reminders and receipts, pairs roommates with a link, and shows the coordinator who's paid and who's behind.

Forty travelers, eighteen months, one volunteer coordinator.

  • The church office counts checks every month

Cards are charged automatically on each due date. Receipts go out by email.

  • Catch-up payments come in by voicemail

Travelers pay a specific installment or any extra amount from their own account.

  • Roommates get sorted on a legal pad

Roommates join a room with a link. Singles book the supplement.

  • The operator's date is fixed. The congregation's isn't

Set the last payment date once. Every plan ends before it.

How it works

How it works for a church trip

  1. 1

    Upload the tour operator's brochure.

The AI builds the trip page with double and single packages, the itinerary and a plan. The church reviews it before anything goes live.

  2. 2

Set the plan around the operator's deadline.

A deposit at sign-up, then monthly payments that end before the operator's final payment. Add travel insurance and extensions as add-ons.

  3. 3

Put the link in the bulletin.

Print the QR code for the bulletin insert and the announcement slide. Travelers book on their phone or with a family member's help, and the rest charges monthly.

Built for older travelers

Easy to say yes to, easy to keep up with

  • Pay in full or monthly

The checkout offers both: the whole trip today, or a deposit and monthly payments charged automatically.

  • A reminder five days before

Email, with the amount and date. If a card fails, the traveler gets a note with a link to update it.

  • Pay any installment early

A "Pay now" button next to each installment, and an extra-payment option for any amount of $35 or more.

  • Help from the family

A traveler's adult child can book for them and manage the plan from the same account.

Paid up 90 days out

Tour operators want the group's final payment about 90 days before departure. End every plan well before it.

The operator's final group payment is due December 3, 2027, 90 days before departure. Every plan has ended four months before that, which leaves room for the stragglers. Each traveler pays $4,235 with the 6% fee; the church receives $3,995.

Pilgrimage questions, answered

How does a church collect payments for a Holy Land trip?

Create the trip, set a deposit and monthly plan, and share one link in the bulletin and from the pulpit. Travelers pay on their phone or with a family member's help.

Do older travelers have to log in every month?

No. After booking, their card is charged automatically on each date. They get an email reminder five days before and a receipt after.

Can someone pay in full instead?

Yes. The checkout offers pay in full and the monthly plan.

What if a card expires or fails?

SquadTrip retries, emails the traveler, and they update the card from their account. The coordinator sees it flagged on the dashboard.

How do we handle roommates and single rooms?

A double package with a room link roommates share, and a single-supplement package with its own price and spots.

Can we sell the Petra extension or travel insurance?

Yes, as add-ons at checkout.

Does the money go to the church?

To the Stripe account connected to the trip. Payouts are daily or weekly, before the operator's payment is due.

What does it cost?

Nothing to use. Travelers pay one 6% fee on top. On a $3,995 package a traveler pays $4,235 and the church receives $3,995.
